SEAT Sport has developed a new version of LEON SC, the SC LEON Long Race (LR). This new model is based on the car Leon SC and enhanced the following aspects:
Engine. Based on the same current motor, has made a new application that develops 330 hp.

Brakes LR. It is the perfect complement to the increased power of the vehicle. With this new kit will improve the braking performance of the vehicle. Moreover, the new caliper allows the use of brake pads thicker, which gives higher number of kilometers with the same chip. This solution is ideal for endurance racing or 24h.

Sequential gearbox. In addition to the DSG gear shift, the new cars can be mounted with a sequential gearbox with a traditional gear shift. The new gearbox reduces front-end car weight (± 40kg). This improves the set-up of the car as well as better into-curve performance. The new gearbox provides better engine retention, therefore assisting in braking. Initially, the gearbox is manufactured with two ratios, a long ratio
(max. ±240 km/h) and a short ratio (max. ± 170 km/h).

- V8PS000000 SUPER COPA LEON 2009 LR. This is the full version of the car, that includes the three kits mentioned above. The price of the car is 83.100€ + 16 % VAT.
- V8PS000001 SUPER COPA LEON 2009 - 330.This is the LEON SC version with the power and brake kits. This car keeps the DSG shift, but adds 330 hp and brakes with higher performance. The price of the car is 68.400€ + 16 % VAT.
